BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

After a successful career practicing law at both a major international law firm in downtown Los Angeles and a boutique entertainment law firm in Beverly Hills, Janna Gosselin experienced a spiritual awakening which propelled her to doctoral studies and seminary. Janna completed a doctorate at USC in English, working with faculty in the School of Religion and writing her dissertation on Julian of Norwich, the now famous English Christian mystic. Janna also completed a Master’s Degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. Responding to her call to teach, Janna is serving on the faculty at the New Theological Seminary of the West as Academic Coordinator and Professor of Christian Spirituality. She is also serving as adjunct faculty at Fuller Theological Seminary, where she has also guest-lectured and co-taught. She has taught at USC and currently serves as a regular guest lecturer there as well. Janna also speaks regularly at academic conferences and is in the process of publishing articles in academic journals. For four summers, Janna has lectured on the Christian mystics at the La Canada Presbyterian Church in addition to being involved in their spiritual formation programs. Janna is currently working on a book on Julian of Norwich.
