In the midst of the divisions within today’s church and society, we will study Paul’s first letter to a divided Corinthian church. We will seek to under- stand the cultural, sociological, and religious context of the letter. We will explore the theological issues in the church in Corinth with a special emphasis for the implications for the life and ministry of the church today.
